ECON 675 Presentation Prep
Private capstone proposal prep site with a slide deck, speaker scripts, audio briefing mode, clickable transcript, and project files.
Overview
This private prep site supports an ECON 675 capstone proposal presentation on whether Fama-French factors explain the returns of AI-related stocks.
The site packages the proposal, slide deck, syllabus context, speaker notes, and a browser-based audio briefing mode into one phone-accessible project page.
Problem
The group needed a fast way to rehearse the presentation and share the same prep materials across members before the proposal presentation.
The practical requirements were:
- A shareable site that works on mobile
- A concise project explanation and speaking guide
- Slide-by-slide role assignments
- Audio briefing controls for passive review
- A light access gate before opening the private prep site
Approach
The prep guide was built as a static HTML site and deployed on Vercel. It includes a transcript-driven audio briefing mode that uses the browser speech engine, plus segmented prep sections for Arnav, Mustafa, and Rinad.
The portfolio link routes through a simple access-code page before sending viewers to the prep site.
